Closed Beta Test 丨Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Hello players,

We are delighted to inform you that the Closed Beta Test (CBT) for Marvel Rivals will take place in a few days!

Have questions about the Closed Beta Test? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to find your answers.

On what platforms will the Beta Test be available?

The testing platform includes Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PS5. Players can engage in cross-platform matchmaking, but the competitive mode does not support matching PC users with console users. In light of the Xbox Series S (XSS) memory limitations, we've taken steps to safeguard the XSS user experience. We've temporarily disabled the Past Lives system, MVP animations and Highlights to prevent memory issues from disrupting gameplay. Our team is committed to ongoing optimization of memory and graphics for the XSS, to make sure they are perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Rest assured, the official launch version will restore the Past Lives system, MVP animations and Highlights on the XSS, delivering the full, immersive experience for all.

Why there is only one single server for console players?

As this is the first test for our console, we want to ensure that players in competitive mode have a relatively ideal matchmaking experience and suitable opponents even during off-peak hours. Therefore, we have concentrated the matchmaking for console players on one server to ensure a sufficient number of real-time matches. For players who want to access other servers, they can join PC players' teams through the quick match mode or create their own rooms to change the target server region.

I have a question that's not covered here, where can I go to ask?
