When Does the Hellfire Gala Moments Event Begin?
According to the official Marvel Rivals patch notes released on April 30, 2025, the Hellfire Gala: Moments event will run from May 2, 2025, 9:00 AM UTC until May 23, 2025, 9:00 AM UTC. This gives you exactly three weeks to complete all three acts and claim your free Wolverine - Patch costume!
Hellfire Gala Moments Event Overview
The Hellfire Gala is structured around three acts, each offering different rewards. You'll need to complete all three acts to unlock the Wolverine - Patch Costume. Let's break down what each act involves:
Act 1: Explore Krakoa
In this first act, you'll journey across Krakoa's locations. Each spot you visit rewards you with Chrono Tokens:

- The Green Lagoon (50 Chrono Tokens)
- A Flying Dragon? (50 Chrono Tokens)
- Krakoa's Next Gen (80 Chrono Tokens)
By visiting all three locations, you'll earn a total of 180 Chrono Tokens.
Act 2: Hellfire Trading Company Gifts
This act focuses on collecting X-Coins and exchanging them for rewards. Based on the event trailer, there appear to be 8 different gifts available. Each gift draw costs 50 X-Coins, so you'll want to collect as many X-Coins as possible.
At one point in the trailer, you can see a progress indicator saying "get 4 gala gifts 4/4" for Act 2. We're not sure if this means players need to collect only 4 gifts to complete the act, or if all 8 are available, with 4 being required for progression. We'll update this section once the event is live with clarification.
To earn X-Coins, you'll need to complete event missions. One confirmed gift is the Emma Frost emote "To me, my X-Men" that was shown in the event trailer. The other gifts remain a mystery for now, but once the event is live, you can check it by clicking "rewards preview" on the Act 2 screen.
Act 3: Gala Star Vote
The Gala Star Vote lets you decide which character will receive a new costume next year.
To participate in the voting:
- Complete missions to earn Voting Tokens.
- Use these tokens to cast votes for your favorite character.
- Each vote costs one Voting Token.
- After voting 10 times, you'll receive a special Gallery Card featuring one of the characters in the event.
You can choose from these eight characters:
- Emma Frost
- Black Panther
- Scarlet Witch
- Cloak & Dagger
- Wolverine
- Black Widow
- Bruce Banner
- Captain America
Note: You can only choose one hero for the Gallery Card, so pick your favorite carefully!
