The full list, as well as the changes to all Heroes, can be found in the patch notes:
Season 2.5 New Team-Ups
There will be 6 new Team-Ups in Season 2.5 of Marvel Rivals:
Symbiote Shenanigans
Jeff the Land Shark can borrow Venom's symbiote to extend tendrils and link with nearby allies for quick healing. This ability works especially well during team fights, where Jeff can connect to multiple teammates, providing constant and crucial healing support that can turn the tide of battle and secure valuable assists.
Operation Microchip
Black Widow gains a new firing mode for her rifle through a Team-Up with The Punisher, allowing her primary fire to pierce through enemies while aiming down sights. This Team-Up serves as a much-needed buff for Black Widow, especially considering her current underwhelming state in the game.
Chilling Assault
Hawkeye uses Luna Snow's ice to fire a special arrow that can penetrate terrain. If enemies are far enough away, this arrow also deals bonus damage and applies a stun effect. This Team-Up introduces a powerful crowd control ability for Hawkeye, making him even more dangerous in long-range engagements.
Rocket Network
Peni Parker uses Rocket Raccoon’s tech to deploy a second, smaller Bionic Spider-Nest that also generates armor packs. Meanwhile, Rocket’s beacon is transformed into a mini Bionic Spider-Nest that spawns both Spider-Drones and fully functional Arachno-Mines.
This Team-Up is a major buff for both heroes, especially in defensive scenarios. One Bionic Spider-Nest is already a threat, now with the possibility of two on the field, the pressure is doubled. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Peni’s pick rate increase as a result!
Stark Protocol
Iron Man & Ultron
Ultron gains the ability to use Iron Man’s Unibeam, unleashing a powerful piercing blast that damages enemies while simultaneously healing allies. This new Team-Up functions somewhat like Invisible Woman’s basic attack, but with greater burst potential and sustained damage and healing, not bad!
Jeff-Nado
By popular demand, Jeff and Storm combine their ultimate abilities to pull enemies into a raging twister, dealing massive damage before Jeff swallows up any remaining foes.
This is a clever Shark-nado wordplay, and much like Storming Ignition, this new Team-Up has the potential to be devastating in the right hands. However, Storming Ignition is not widely used at the moment, will it be the same with Jeff-Nado? Regardless, Jeff mains have plenty to celebrate, as he now receives two new Team-Ups in this update!
Season 2.5 Removed Team-Ups
Aside from the new ones, Season 2.5 is also set to remove 4 existing Team-Ups:
Chilling Charisma
Allied Agents
Ammo Overload
Symbiote Bond
Season 2.5 Adjusted Team-Ups
Season 2.5 will also adjust one Team-Up:
Gamma Charge
Iron Man is now out of the Gamma Charge Team-Up, meaning he won't be able to use the overpowered Gamma Overdrive starting Season 2.5.
That covers all the changes to Team-Ups coming with the launch of Season 2.5 of Marvel Rivals, which goes live on May 30, 2025.
