Doctor Strange: "Exactly. Chaos magic is wild and unpredictable, but I've been working on a proper spell to implement some precision and structure. Come on, lend me a hand."

Scarlet Witch: "Hmmm, this feels... different. The energy flows more smoothly through your focus... it seems almost more potent than my chaos magic?"

Doctor Strange: "The spell can't reach its potential on its own unlike your chaos magic; you have to actively command it. Now, channel more of your power forward."

Scarlet Witch: "Like this, Stephen?"

Doctor Strange: "Ah, you never cease to amaze me, Wanda—it's no wonder you're the Supreme Sorcerer of your timeline. I feel like I'm in the presence of an even greater master than the Ancient One."

Scarlet Witch: "This combination of spellwork... it does flow more gracefully than chaos magic... but controlling it is trickier!"

Doctor Strange: "With your exceptional knowledge, you'll master it in no time. It will become your new weapon. Now, adjust your rhythm and try again."

Scarlet Witch: "…Alright, but if I accidentally blow up the Sanctum Sanctorum, don't blame me."

Doctor Strange: "Trust me, after what Dracula and Khonshu did to the Sanctum, anything is an improvement."

Arcane Order Guide

In this new Team-up Ability introduced in Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Doctor Strange appears as the anchor and grants Scarlet Witch the ability to unleash the next level of mystic art, shooting rapid magical missiles in a target direction.

By activating the team-up ability, Scarlet Witch switches her Chthonian Burst (RMB) into a rapid barrage of magic missiles. Unlike her basic RMB skill, by activating the team-up ability, she can unleash rapid and burst damage with a really long range.

Without the team-up ability, she requires a single Chaos Energy for each of the missiles. But when activated, the missiles don't require Chaos Energy, turning it into a deadly machine-gun-like mystic missile.

Mystic Burst is a rapid projectile attack, so the missiles do have projectile speed and are not a hitscan attack. This means that it requires good crosshair tracking to be able to rapidly hit the enemy.

Note that Mystic Burst cannot crit, so aim for enemy bodies instead of aiming for headshots, because there is no damage difference there.

With the changes introduced in Season 2 Patch Notes, Scarlet Witch's basic attack is now fixed damage rather than based on percentage. This means, with the added Mystic Burst skill, she is now intended as a Duelist and Strategist killer.

Best Against

This Team-up is best against flying heroes, Strategists, and long-range Duelists:

• Hela, Moon Knight, Namor, and The Punisher are all long-range Duelists that prefer to play slightly at the back of the battle. With the range and the rapid burst of Mystic Burst, she can apply pressure and force them to reposition or even die.
• Human Torch, Star-Lord, Storm, and Iron Man are flying heroes who are quite hard to reach. Mystic Burst can be the solution to kill these flying pests.
• Adam Warlock, Luna Snow, Mantis, and Rocket Raccoon are all Strategists who can be really easy targets for this new team-up ability.

Best Counters

These characters are the best counters to the Arcane Order Team-Up ability:

Doctor Strange is ironically the counter to this team-up. He can easily deploy his Arcane Shield to protect teammates from the barrage of mystic missiles.

Magneto is also a really good counter to Mystic Burst. Not only can he shield his teammates, he can also use his ultimate to absorb the mystic missiles and turn the tide of the battle.

Hawkeye is a good long-range Duelist who can easily kill Scarlet Witch, even when her Arcane Order team-up is activated.

Magik and Winter Soldier are high-mobility and high-burst damage close to mid-range Duelists who can one-combo kill Scarlet Witch.

Spider-Man is a really fast character that could counter this team-up. Her missiles are projectiles, so it would be kinda hard to hit fast heroes like Spider-Man. He can also one-combo kill Scarlet Witch easily.
