Many Marvel fans are waiting for Daredevil to be introduced in Marvel Rivals. Now, fans can have a sigh of relief because leaks have emerged revealing that Daredevil is in the works! Let's find out everything you need to know about Daredevil in Marvel Rivals, including his abilities leak, role, and gameplay prediction!
Daredevil Leaked Kit and Abilities

Marvel Rivals Season 2 is almost here with a new playable hero, Emma Frost, and soon Ultron in 2.5. However, where is the Devil from Hell's Kitchen and when will he be in the game? While there are no leaks regarding his release, a recent leak from a third party source has revealed that NetEase is currently working on Daredevil.
The leak revealed that there will be a new character called DAREDEVIL—obvious enough that Matt Murdock is the one they are talking about. Aside from the leaked name, there is also an ability leak:
- Spherical Clipping (Passive)
For now, the only leaked ability is Spherical Clipping. Spherical Clipping is a term for a technique used to isolate and visualize specific areas within a 3D model. This is a huge nod to Daredevil’s ability to visualize images just from his superhuman hearing and smelling.
This passive ability will most likely function similarly to The Punisher’s passive, which allows him to sense and see enemies even behind walls and objects. This is a lore-accurate skill for Daredevil, because while he’s blind, he can actually “see” better—even through walls—thanks to his heightened senses like hearing and smell.
Daredevil Gameplay Prediction

Currently, there are no leaks revealing what role he will be. However, it is only logical that Daredevil will be a Duelist. He is a brawler, a master in close-combat battle, so a Duelist is the perfect role for him.
His movement will most likely be similar to Iron Fist, a relentless chaser, but rather than delivering a thousand punches, Daredevil will likely use his iconic baton. His basic attack will likely be a combo of baton strikes.

He will also likely have high mobility. This is possible with the help of his customized multipurpose baton. His baton can extend and turn into a 10-meter grappling hook. This can be used as a mobility tool just like Moon Knight, or even to swing like Spider-Man, however with less speed and height.
He might also have a skill that turns his melee style into mid-ranged combat. He is known to throw his baton to attack enemies. So this could be a skill, similar to the mechanic of Captain America’s if he activates his team-up ability with Thor (which is now sadly removed starting Season 2).
For his ultimate ability, it’s likely a skill that boosts his overall damage and speed, just like Iron Fist. Daredevil is known for heightened senses and enhanced fighting ability when enraged, so this could serve as his ultimate.
Do remember these abilities are based on predictions drawn from his comic and TV series lore.
New Character Possibilities
Adding Daredevil to the Marvel Rivals roster opens up exciting possibilities for characters closely tied to his universe. Off the top of the list, these include Elektra, Kingpin, and Bullseye—all of whom have strong ties to Daredevil through comics, TV shows, and even games.

Kingpin, in particular, would be an interesting addition. He could be designed as a Vanguard, a tanky front-liner with unique crowd-control mechanics. Some fans on Reddit have thrown out creative ideas, such as giving him an ultimate that deploys goons, unleashing a barrage of gunfire in true mafia fashion. While it sounds wild on paper, it’s not completely out of scope for Marvel Rivals, which often blends flashy gameplay with lore-driven powers.
Currently, these are everything you need to know about Daredevil and what players can expect based on predictions and existing leaks. That said, don’t expect him to arrive until around Season 4 or 5, considering the roadmap speculation and confirmed characters through Season 3.5.
What do you think? Will Daredevil be a good addition in Marvel Rivals?
