How to Play White Fox

White Fox is a versatile Strategist in Marvel Rivals, able to adapt to different situations. Her basic attack uses Yeowoo Guseul, or Fox Marbles, which heal allies and damage enemies. This is her main healing ability.

The orbs can bounce once off surfaces and will heal the nearest allies or damage the nearest enemies after the bounce. The marbles will also bounce once towards the nearest ally or enemy.

Similar to Invisible Woman, White Fox can simultaneously heal allies while dealing damage to nearby enemies. This makes her a strong Strategist for aggressive play, especially when paired with melee allies.

Spectral Surge

Spectral Surge can buff teammates and charm enemies. This skill is especially useful for melee allies who are going on the offensive, granting them invulnerability while enemies are charmed and forced to walk toward White Fox for a brief moment.

While the duration is very short, it is actually quite powerful. Even a single second of invulnerability and charm can be enough to turn the tables. When timed correctly, this skill can save allies from lethal damage.

Fox Form Awakening

Her E ability allows White Fox to partially transform into a melee fighter, slashing enemies with her Kumiho claws while healing nearby allies. She can also dash forward and push enemies back during the ability.

This is her bread and butter skill, making her very versatile in combat. When dealing with enemy melee flankers harassing the backline, using this ability quickly can protect teammates and eliminate the threat.

However, during full team fights, it is usually better to stay in her basic form and heal allies from mid-range. This skill is more effective when defending teammates from flanks or sudden ganks.

Spirit Sanctuary

What makes White Fox unique in Marvel Rivals is her ability to instantly teleport to allies from afar, immediately granting a brief barrier that blocks projectiles. This is her most unique skill and one of the key reasons she stands out among Strategists.

When timed correctly, this ability can be crucial for saving teammates from death, especially diving allies who are far away or backline teammates who are being flanked. It can even deny enemy Ultimates if used at the right moment.

Time it correctly and do not spam it. Know when to teleport. For example, when Magneto is about to use his Ultimate or when Scarlet Witch is about to attempt a team wipe, that is when this skill becomes crucial. Prioritize teammates who are sticking together.

It is still unclear whether this ability can withstand Scarlet Witch’s Ultimate, and the guide will be updated once more information is confirmed.

This skill can also be used as a retreat option, allowing her to instantly teleport to a safer backline position when overwhelmed on the frontline.

Ultimate

Her Ultimate allows White Fox to transform into her true nine-tailed form, changing her attacks from ranged to melee. At the same time, she continues to heal allies around her.

She can also target an ally and grant them Unstoppable and lifesteal. This is perfect for allies whose Ultimates can easily be interrupted, such as Scarlet Witch, Star-Lord, Spider-Man, and Iron Man.

This Ultimate can turn the tide during team fights, making her a more aggressive character who can deal damage while still healing allies.

Timing is everything with this Ultimate. It is not recommended to activate it when she is alone or with only a few allies. However, when used during a full team clash, releasing her true form can completely shift the momentum of the fight and potentially save the team.

White Fox Team-Up Ability

White Fox is part of a new Team Up Ability called “Blessing of the Kumiho” in Marvel Rivals. Acting as the anchor, she grants Luna Snow a new ability that allows her to release a Spirit Fox forward, which heals allies while damaging and briefly charming enemies.

Best Team Composition for White Fox

The best teammates to pair with White Fox are those who play aggressively on offense. Melee and mid range characters like Winter Soldier, Daredevil, Thor, and Magik are ideal, as they frequently engage on the front line where White Fox’s skills can keep them sustained.

Heroes with ultimates that are easy to interrupt, such as Scarlet Witch, Star Lord, and Iron Man, also work well with White Fox. She can combo with them and make a teammate unstoppable during their ultimate.

How to Counter White Fox

White Fox’s ultimate can be very troublesome. When she unleashes her full Kumiho form, she becomes extremely formidable. The best way to counter this is by using Jeff the Land Shark, who can swallow her and spit her far away or even to her death. Elsa Bloodstone’s Glartrox can also latch onto the Kumiho and drag her away.

When White Fox teleports and creates a barrier, the best way to deal with it is to use heroes who can push or pull her out of it. Characters like Invisible Woman, Winter Soldier, or Angela can do this effectively, allowing you to isolate and eliminate her quickly.

White Fox Release Date

White Fox was released in Marvel Rivals Season 7 of Marvel Rivals, on March 20, 2026. The second character, Black Cat, arrives later in Season 7.5.
