Doctor Strange’s primary attack has a mix of shotgun-like spread and nearly a single-shot behavior. Up close, it hits like a spread shot. But as you move farther away, the attack lines up into a tighter pattern and hits more like a single dot. This means your crosshair matters a lot, especially when you’re trying to land clean shots at different ranges.
Below is a crosshair setup we’ve been using that works well for all distances. It’s built to help you understand how the primary attack behaves and make aiming easier, especially when fighting close or mid-range.
Note: These are settings and crosshair that work well for most players, but feel free to change them to match how you like to play.
Best Doctor Strange Crosshair in Marvel Rivals
Doctor Strange’s Daggers of Denak behave differently based on range, so it’s important to have a crosshair that visually reflects that. We’ve updated the design from our previous crosshair in the crosshair guide to help you better predict spread, lead your shots, understand range, and line up your shots more reliably.
Here’s what each part of this updated crosshair does:
- Outer Circle: Nearly matches the shot spread at 10 meters. At longer range, this circle will also help you lead your shots, as Doctor Strange is not a hitscan character. (You can see both of these aspects in the video above)
- Center Dot: Represents the narrow spread at 30 meters, when the daggers line up into almost a single shot. This helps with long-range shots (for stationary targets).
- Traditional Crosshair Lines (Optional): These lines roughly match the height of most heroes at 30 meters, giving you a reference to tell whether you're within range or just outside it. This can be really useful for learning distances. Note: This element is optional—some players may find it distracting, especially in chaotic fights. You can turn it off or lower opacity if needed. In the video you can notice when the length of crosshair was taller than the punisher we werent able to hit him, but when the crosshair was shorter than the character we were easily able to land our shots on him. Also, this might not be 100% accurate all the time but will give you a reference to help improve your accuracy.
Keep in mind: Taller characters like Venom, Peni parker, groot, etc, will stand out above this line, while smaller ones like Rocket raccoon or Jeff the land shark may fall below it. The line still works as a general reference point for 70% of the characters.
