Namor: "Tony, spare the complaints. Your clunky shell is simply flawed. Monstro's spawn are built to consume radiation."

Iron Man: "Oh? So last time when it went rogue and attacked that research fleet was just 'normal behavior'?"

Namor: "Isn't it your kind that caused them to become like that? Besides, if those humans hadn't dared to trespass into its waters, my beast wouldn't have bothered them in the first place."

Hulk: "HULK TIRED OF TIN CAN AND FISHMAN FIGHTING! HULK LEAVING!"

Iron Man: "Sorry, Hulk—I'll figure out the circuitry. This time, I've got to control the intake. Gonna have to learn to be a Defender just like Stephen was..."

Namor: "You know nothing of our teamwork, Stark. One of the few teams I've been willing to join in my centuries alive."

Iron Man: "Namor, what are you talking about? You've joined everyone from the Invaders to the X-Men. You just like to whine about being alone for attention."

Namor: "And yet every time I do, you land dwellers always show your true colors. But soon, Monstro will feast on this gamma power and I won't need any of you any longer."

Hulk: "HULK SMASH SQUID—"

Iron Man: "Well, until that day comes, we'll make everyone else green with envy."

Hulk: "…EXACTLY. GREEN TEAM SMASH!"

Gamma Charge Guide

Gamma Charge remains as one of the S Tier Team-up Abilities thanks to huge damage boost for Iron Man and Namor. Hulk stands as the anchor of this team-up.

Iron Man

With this team-up, Iron Man can activate Gamma Overcharge, infusing his laser attack with gamma radiation. This dramatically increases his laser's damage, which works well for any kind of enemies, whether they're Vanguards, Duelists, or especially Strategists.

The best way to use the Gamma Charge team-up as Iron Man is to fly out of sight and try to flank their backlines first. With his free flight ability, he can really traverse around the map without the enemy noticing. Once on their backline, get close to them and unleash the Gamma Overload laser. Target their Strategists first and then their Duelists.

Namor

While Namor was removed from the Chilling Charisma team-up, he got Gamma Charge instead, which is a buff in a way. With this team-up, he can deploy a gamma-infused minion, which shoots lasers instead of basic water cannon spits.

These gamma-infused minion lasers deal constant damage, able to quickly melt the target’s health. Not only do they deal huge constant damage, but the range of the lasers is also quite far. This works best against flying enemies and flankers.

Best Against

This Team-up is best against flying heroes, flankers, and backliners:

• Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Fist, Psylocke, Spider-Man, and Star-Lord are all flankers who can really get shut down by Namor's gamma-infused minions.
• Human Torch, Iron Man, and Storm are all flying heroes who can be countered by Namor's gamma-infused minions and Iron Man's gamma-infused laser.
• Basically all Strategists are easy targets for Iron Man's gamma-infused laser.

Best Counters

These characters are the best counters to the Gamma Charge Team-Up ability:

Thor is able to target, chase, and kill Iron Man with his abilities to dash with his Mjolnir and switch his attack to ranged.

Bruce Banner and Iron Man are ironically one of the best combinations to counter gamma-charged Iron Man. By also using Gamma Charge, it becomes a matter of skill contest—who has the better crosshair tracking.

Hela and The Punisher are both hitscan heroes who can easily kill Iron Man.

Iron Fist is a relentless chaser who can pursue Iron Man to his death.

Moon Knight is a great counter to Namor and his minions, as the projectile will bounce toward them.

Adam Warlock and Mantis are both long-range Strategists with decent damage who can kill Iron Man or Namor if they are overextending.
