Clearing this achievement will grant you 5 Achievement Points, essential for progressing toward the ultimate goal, earning free Units after completing all achievements.
Note that you can only complete this achievement in Quick Match, Competitive, and Practice VS. AI.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to shatter the deception inside the Throne Room in Yggsgard: Royale Palace.
Step 1: Play in Yggsgard: Royale Palace
The first step towards completing this achievement is to find a Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice VS. AI in Yggsgard's Domination map, Royale Palace. Playing in a Custom Match won't give you the achievement.
Step 2: Be in Thor's Team
This second step is very important, you must be on Thor’s team. This doesn’t mean you need to have Thor as a playable character. In Royale Palace Domination matches, players are randomly assigned to either Thor’s or Loki’s side.
To find out if you're on Thor’s team, pay attention to specific visual hints in the spawn room. Since there are three different spawn areas in Royale Palace, here are the signs to look for in each one:
- Odin’s Archive: There will be a large casket in the center of the room instead of a floating orb.
- Throne Room: When you leave the spawn room, the Capture Point will be on the right side of the map.
- Bifrost Garden: There won’t be a family photo on the shelf. If you see a family picture, you're on Loki’s team.
If you spot these signs, you're on Thor's side, which is necessary to complete this achievement. If you're placed on Loki's team instead, you’ll need to requeue and try again until you spawn on Thor’s team.
Step 3: Win the Throne Room Area
Once you know that you are in Team Thor, your next objective is to wait until the battle moves into the Throne Room area. Here, your goal is to secure a win for Thor’s team during this round.
There’s a really cool visual detail that lets you know you’re on the right track.
- Inside the Throne Room, check out the large murals next to the Capture Point.
- At first, they show Loki defeating Surtur.
- But once Thor’s team captures the point, the mural magically changes, revealing that Loki was actually striking a deal with Surtur all along.
It’s such a clever nod to Loki’s sneaky and deceptive nature. After capturing the point as Team Thor, make sure to hold your ground and win the round to progress.
Step 4: Complete the Achievement
Once you’ve won the Throne Room area while siding with Thor, all that’s left to do is finish the match. Make sure not to quit before it ends to make sure the achievement registers properly. The final outcome of the match doesn’t matter, what’s important is that you secured the Throne Room win for Team Thor.
