Rocket Network Guide

Rocket Network is one of 6 new Team-Ups introduced in Season 2.5 of Marvel Rivals. In this Team-Up, Rocket Raccoon stands as the anchor, granting Peni Parker a skill to add one more Bionic Spider-Nest. As the Anchor, Rocket's respawn beacon also turns into a mini Bionic-Nest that spawns mines and armor packs.

• As the Team-Up Anchor, Rocket Raccoon gains a 5% increase in healing effects. When the Team-Up is active, Rocket's B.R.B. is upgraded to a Web Beacon.
• Peni Parker unlocks a new Armored Spider-Nest ability through her Team-Up with Rocket Raccoon.

Peni Parker

While this Team-Up is active, Peni Parker can deploy two Bionic Spider-Nests, as if one nest wasn’t already problematic enough. The secondary nest, called the Armored Spider-Nest, will also deploy spider-mines and target anyone who steps into the webbed area. What makes it special is that it can also spawn armor packs.

This ability works best when defending a Capture Point or holding a choke point. The most effective strategy is to place the primary nest so that its webbing covers the main pathway, while placing the secondary Armored Nest in a more protected corner. Since it generates armor packs, it’s best to keep it safe from enemy destruction to support your team more effectively.

Rocket Raccoon

This Team-Up also grants Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. Beacon a significant upgrade, allowing it to spawn a small webbing area and Arachno-Mines.

While the standard respawn beacon is already difficult to find and destroy, especially when hidden well, this upgrade adds extra protection against melee heroes, particularly flankers who often sneak into the backline to search for the beacon.

Overall, this new Team-Up could have a major impact on the meta. We may see a noticeable increase in Peni Parker’s pick rate, both in Competitive and Quick Matches.

Best Against

This Team-Up is best against divers and melee flankers:

• Captain America, The Thing, and Venom are diving Vanguards who often leap into the center of battle, a tactic that Peni can now counter more effectively with the secondary Bionic Spider-Nest providing extra defense.
• Black Panther, Iron Fist, and Spider-Man, as melee flankers, will have a much harder time getting into the fight or destroying the upgraded B.R.B. Beacon, especially with the added webbing and Arachno-Mines surrounding it.

Best Counters

These heroes are the best counters to Rocket Network:

• Groot can instantly destroy a Bionic Spider-Nest by building a wall directly underneath it.
• Bruce Banner and Magneto both have shield bubbles that nullify incoming damage, allowing them to enter the web-network safely and target the nests.
• Iron Man and Star-Lord, as flying heroes, excel at locating and destroying Spider-Nests from above while remaining undetected.
• Psylocke is a strong mid-ranged flanker capable of sneaking behind enemy lines to locate and destroy the B.R.B. Beacon.
• Wolverine can dive in to quickly snatch Peni Parker out of her web-network before getting hit by the mines, eliminating her and automatically destroying her deployed nests.
