Ruined Idol Achievement Guide

Hey there, Rivals! I've been grinding through Season 1.5's new Achievements, and there’s one particular achievement that was quite confusing. There's this hidden statue of Bloodstorm One that you can destroy for the "Ruined Idol" achievement, and I've figured out the easiest ways to find it. Trust me, once you know where to look, it's actually pretty simple!

Bloodstorm One Statue Location in New York

First off, if you're trying to collect those precious Units in Season 1.5, you'll want to knock this achievement out. It's part of the Chronoverse Saga achievements, and completing it brings you one step closer to grabbing those last 200 free Units.

One of the new achievements is the “Ruined Idol”. This tasks you to find and shatter the Bloodstorm One statue in New York. Finding it on a huge map can be quite frustrating. However, I've found two reliable ways to reach the statue, depending on which side you're playing on. Let me break down both routes for you.

Attacking Team

If you are on the attacking team, follow these simple steps:

1. Start from your spawn point and head through the first capture point gate.
2. Keep following the main mission path until you hit an uphill section, just before the second gate.
3. Here's the key part - when you're going uphill, look for a broken wall on your left.
4. Go through that wall and look for a door on your right. Once you find it, turn left.
5. You'll end up in this huge castle area. The Bloodstorm One statue sits behind the health pack.

Defending Team

Playing defense? No problem! I actually think this route is even easier:

1. Make your way to the final objective area.
2. Look for a fallen building that's created a diagonal ramp.
3. Use that ramp to climb up and look for a door on the right side.
4. Once you're through that door, just turn right, and you'll spot the Bloodstorm One statue.

Destroying the Statue

Once you've found it, destroying the statue is super simple - just whack it a few times with your attacks. I usually just spam my primary fire until it shatters. It doesn't require any specific character or ability, which is nice.

Note that you must destroy the statue after the match starts! If you destroy it before the match starts, you will not receive the achievement. You also need to be in a quick match, competitive, or practice vs AI to complete this achievement.

After you have destroyed it, finish the game and you will get the notification for the completed “Ruined Idol” achievement.

Other New York Achievements

While you're hunting down this statue, keep an eye out for other achievements in the area. There are three more you can grab during the Eternal Night event:

• Saving Rachel Oskar: Rescue Ratatoskr when Eternal Night falls on New York.
• Night Travelers, Protected: Use the spell within Ratatoskr to eliminate all vampires when Eternal Night falls on New York.
• Silver Lining: With Ratatoskr’s help, complete the first trial run of TRD when Eternal Night falls on New York.

Achievement hunting can sometimes be frustrating, but this one's actually pretty fun once you know where you're going. Take your time exploring these routes, and you'll have that "Ruined Idol" achievement in no time. Plus, you'll be that much closer to claiming those sweet free Units.
