Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the Cellblock Chat achievement:
Step 1: Play on the Lower Manhattan Map
The first step is to play on the Lower Manhattan map. To access it, queue for a quick or competitive match. Make sure you play a public match, as completing this in a custom match will not grant you the achievement.
Step 2: Play as the Defending Team
If you have explored the entire map but still cannot find the Vault, this is likely the issue. You need to be on the defending team to access the Vault.
If you are playing Quick Match and end up on the attacking team, you will need to find another match. However, in Ranked Match, teams switch sides, so you will eventually get a chance to play as the defending team.
Step 3: Unlock the Vault
If you have found a match where you are playing as the defending team, you are one step closer to completing the achievement. The Vault you need to reach is located at the far end of the map, behind the finish line.
If you have just started the match, the Vault will be closed and locked. To open it, the attacking team must reach the first and only payload checkpoint. Once they do, the Vault opens and becomes your team’s spawn room.
Step 4: Talk To Kingpin
Now that you are inside the Vault, head to the back, and you will see a large figure in a white tux, that is Kingpin. Approach him and interact to start a conversation. He will then share his ambitions as the Mayor of New York City.
After speaking with him, do not leave the match early, as it may prevent the achievement from registering. Instead, finish the match. Once it ends, whether you win or lose, you will receive a notification confirming that you have completed the Cellblock Chat achievement. Congrats!
