How to Complete the Out of Service Achievement
The Out of Service achievement takes place on the new Hellfire Gala: Krakoa map. According to testing, this achievement appears to be tied to which team you spawn as in the match.
When playing on the Krakoa map, just like any other mode you'll be randomly assigned to either Team A or Team B. The achievement is tied to if you spawn as a specific team (Team B) and that team wins the match.
Step 1: Queue for the Krakoa Map
You can access the Hellfire Gala: Krakoa map in two ways:
- Join the special quick match queue specifically for the new map (available during Season 2 launch)
- Choose the regular queue and wait for the map to appear in rotation
The dedicated queue is your best option since it guarantees you'll get the right map without waiting through multiple matches.
Step 2: Check Which Team You're On
When the match begins, you'll be assigned to one of the two teams. The achievement is tied to Team B and winning with that team. Since the way you get assigned to a side is completely random, you may need to play multiple matches until you end up on the correct team for this achievement. But the question is how to check which team you are on, well it is simple. If you spawn as Team B these will be your spawn areas in all three rounds we have attached the images below:
To complete the achievement, your team needs to win the match. In Domination mode, this means winning 2 out of the 3 rounds. Focus on capturing and holding the control point in each round to help your team secure victory.
Furthermore don't be disappointed if you don't spawn as Team B as each team has a different achievement they can earn if they win, with the main difference being the achievement tied to the team and victory animation that plays after the match. In this case, the victory animation will include Emma Frost knocking off Ultron's head.
