Season 3: The Abyss Awakens has been officially confirmed to start on July 11, 2025, UTC. This comes from the new trailer that Marvel Rivals just released. You should expect the usual maintenance window before the season goes live. The game typically goes down for a few hours while they push the update. Make sure to finish any battle pass rewards before the new season starts.

New Hero in Marvel Rivals Season 3

The official Season 3 trailer confirms that both Phoenix and Blade are joining the roster. The trailer starts with Hela approaching Knull and getting empowered by him. We then see her and Phoenix fighting, followed by Blade making an entry. The end of the trailer shows Blade and Phoenix fighting together against the empowered Hela.
