Both skins have connections to Marvel Comics lore. The Spider-Man Future Foundation skin is directly inspired by Spider-Man's time with the Future Foundation in Marvel Comics. Marvel Rivals has previously released Future Foundation skins for other characters, so it was about time Spider-Man got his Future Foundation skin.
