Marvel Rivals’ newest season is here, and it’s packed with exciting content. Alongside the arrival of Phoenix, there are several new achievements to earn, one of which is “Severed Outpost.” This guide will show you exactly how to complete this achievement.
What is the Severed Outpost Achievement?

The Severed Outpost achievement is part of the Chronoverse Saga achievements, added in Season 3 of Marvel Rivals. This achievement tasks you to "Gain control of the Celestial Hand in Klyntar: Celestial Husk." Clearing this achievement will grant you 5 Achievement Points, needed for progressing toward the ultimate goal, earning free Units.
Note that you can only complete this achievement in Quick Match and Competitive.
Now, let's take a look at how to gain control of the Celestial Hand in Klyntar in Marvel Rivals.
How to Gain Control of the Celestial Hand in Klyntar in Marvel Rivals
Follow this step-by-step guide to be able to complete the Celestial Pathway achievement:
Step 1: Find a Klyntar: Celestial Husk Match

To start working on this achievement, you’ll need to play on the new Klyntar Domination map called Celestial Husk. It only counts if you’re in Quick Match or Competitive mode.
An easier option is to queue for the limited-time Klyntar: Celestial Husk mode. It guarantees you’ll get the right map, making it the best way to begin.
Step 2: Play in the Celestial Hand Area

Domination matches rotate through three different zones, one for each round. To get the achievement, you need to play in the Celestial Hand area. You’ll know it’s the right place if the capture point has a statue with a Phoenix egg on top of it.
If Celestial Hand is set for round three, try to win one round and lose one. That way, the game goes to the third round, and you’ll get your chance to play on Celestial Hand.
Step 3: Win the Celestial Hand Area
To finish the achievement, you need to win the Celestial Hand round. Even though it says “gain control of the Hand,” it’s not just about being on the point, it’s about winning the round as a team.
Make sure you understand the map layout, know the hot zones, and play smart with your squad. Teamwork and good positioning will give you the best shot at completing it.
Step 4: Complete the Achievement
After winning the Celestial Hand round, make sure to stay until the match is over. If you leave early, the achievement might not register properly, something many players forget.
When the match wraps up and you’re back on the main screen, you should see a pop-up saying the “Severed Outpost” achievement is complete.
While completing this, you can also work on other Celestial Husk-based achievements:
- Echoes of the Abyss
- Full Heart, Can’t Lose
- Celestial Pathway
- From the Abyss
- Blazing Rebirth
