They threatened Odin, hoping he would surrender in exchange for his newborn daughter. When Odin refused, Aldrif was sentenced to death.
Thankfully, one Angel showed mercy and secretly saved the child, raising her as one of their own under the name "Angela." As she grew older, Angela left her foster mother and began her journey to become the legendary warrior we know today.
Angela's Potential Abilities and Role in Marvel Rivals
Angela’s possible addition to Marvel Rivals comes from a leak revealing Loki’s dialogue with her: "Angela, darling, am I supposed to believe that Odin had a Kingslayer daughter that I have never known of?"
With only this surfaced leak, there are no ability leaks yet. However, based on her powers and abilities in the comics, we can speculate that her skills will revolve around her physiology.
From the comics, we know that she possesses:

Based on this information, I wouldn’t be surprised if Angela were introduced as a new Duelist. She is a fierce warrior capable of defeating her brother, Thor. While many fans predict she will be a Vanguard, it would make more sense for her to be a melee or mid-range Duelist. Hela is also an Asgardian but is purely long-range, so adding Angela would shake things up.
That being said, it would be cool if she didn’t use her Xiphos sword as her primary weapon, as it would feel too basic and too similar to Magik. Instead, she could wield the Blades of Ichor, a double-edged scimitar that can transform into any bladed weapon. It can also split into two and take the form of a whip.
If she uses her Ichor, she could deal damage similarly to Kratos in God of War, making her a devastating force in team fights. The Ichor also opens up possibilities for unique abilities, such as:
- Swinging her Ichor in front to deal damage in a cone-shaped area.
- A jumping attack where she slams her Ichor into the ground, dealing area damage and knocking enemies upward—possibly her gap-closing ability.

Angela Gameplay Prediction
As a close to mid-range Duelist, she will excel in brawling during team fights. If my skill prediction comes true, playing as Angela will feel like a combination of Magik and Captain America.
Angela will excel in team fights, just like Magik does. The difference is that Magik is highly effective at wreaking havoc on the enemy backline, whereas Angela will likely be better at fighting enemy DPS who engage in the middle of the battlefield. She would be a good counter to DPS heroes such as Winter Soldier, Wolverine, or Mister Fantastic.
The reason I compare her to Captain America is that it would only be logical for her to have increased survivability due to her healing factor. I also predict that she will have a jumping attack for a gap closer, which could be similar to Captain America's Super-Soldier Slam.
She would work well with healers like Adam Warlock, who can use Soul Bond to share damage taken, or Cloak & Dagger, who could sustain her healing even amid the chaos of the battlefield.
Like Magik, it is possible that Angela’s ultimate grants her increased attack speed, movement speed, and damage while wielding her Xiphos sword. Even better, her ultimate could grant her the ability to fly with quick dashes, making her a threat both on the ground and in the air.
Nevertheless, if this prediction comes true, she will be a great addition to the game. She would provide a new option for countering melee to mid-range heroes who are dominant in ranked matches, such as Wolverine or Winter Soldier.
