What is the Echoes of the Abyss Achievement?
The Echoes of the Abyss achievement requires you to "Listen to All-Black's Voice in Klyntar: Celestial Husk" and rewards 5 Achievement Points upon completion. This achievement is quite straightforward compared to a lot of other achievements that require you to win or complete specific tasks. This one focuses on triggering an audio interaction with the All-Black symbiote sword on the new map.
Finding the Right Round: Celestial Vault
The Klyntar: Celestial Husk map features three different rounds that rotate randomly:
- Celestial Codex
- Celestial Vault
- Celestial Hand
For the Echoes of the Abyss achievement, you specifically need to play during the Celestial Vault round, which you can identify by the massive sword positioned in the center of the area. This is also the control zone, so you will pretty much come to this spot at least once in a game for sure!
How to Complete the Echoes of the Abyss Achievement
Follow these steps to unlock the Echoes of the Abyss achievement:
Step 1: Access Klyntar: Celestial Husk Map
Get into the correct map using one of these methods:
- Dedicated Queue: Select the Klyntar: Celestial Husk queue (available for a limited time as it's a new map)
- Quick Match: Join regular matchmaking and wait for the map to appear in rotation
The dedicated queue provides the fastest optiom since it guarantees you'll play on the right map immediately.
Step 2: Wait for Celestial Vault Round
Since the three rounds appear randomly during matches, you'll need to wait until the Celestial Vault round begins. If Celestial Vault doesn't appear in your first match, you may need to play additional matches until this round comes up in the rotation. (Incase the match ends in a 2-0 and Celestial Vault was the last round)
Step 3: Reach the Control Zone
Once you're in the Celestial Vault round, head toward the control zone around the giant sword. The achievement unlocks when you successfully hear All-Black's voice. Try to be among the first players to enter the contest zone area.
Step 4: Achievement Completion
The achievement will unlock automatically once you have successfully heard All-Black's voice. You don't need to win the round or complete any other objectives - just triggering the audio interaction is sufficient.
