NetEase has outlined the upcoming content set to release throughout Season 9, including a new hero, battle pass, character rework, and more! Here's the complete roadmap for Season 9:

July 10 – Season 9.0 Release

• New Hero (Jubilee)
• Team-Up Ability Overhaul
• Character Rework (Black Widow)
• New Battle Pass (The Faith-Harvesting Engine)
• New Event (Death of Apocalypse)
• New Event (The Resurrection of the Horsemen)
• New Accessory (Shogo Tote)
• New Costume (Jubilee – Midnight Mutant, Rogue – Raider Prime, and Wolverine – Horsemen of Death)

Season 9 of Marvel Rivals launches on July 10, 2026, bringing Jubilee to the roster as a new hero! The Faith-Harvesting Engine Battle Pass debuts on the same day alongside three store costumes: Jubilee receives her Midnight Mutant skin, Rogue gets the Raider Prime costume, and Wolverine receives his Horsemen of Death skin.

Season 9 also brings a full team-up ability overhaul alongside a character rework for Black Widow. The Death of Apocalypse and The Resurrection of the Horsemen events both kick off on launch day.

July 17

• New Costume (Gambit – Horsemen of Death, Hawkeye – Van Dyne Designs, and Devil Dinosaur – Jeff the Dinosaur)

July 17th introduces three new costumes. Gambit joins the Horsemen of Death collection, Hawkeye receives his Van Dyne Designs skin, and Devil Dinosaur gets the Jeff the Dinosaur costume. The Van Dyne Couture event also begins this week.

July 24

• New Costume (Hela – Temple Protectors and Psylocke – Horsemen of Death)

July 24th introduces Thebes, a brand-new map! This update also brings two new costumes: Hela receives her Temple Protectors skin while Psylocke joins the Horsemen of Death collection.

July 31

• New PVE Mode (Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Age of Ultron)
• Marvel Rivals Ignite Series Mid-Season Finals
• New Costume (Spider-Man & Hulk – Brand New Day)
• New Costume (Scarlet Witch – Avengers: Age of Ultron and Winter Soldier – Captain America: The Winter Soldier)

July 31st brings Path to Doomsday Avengers: Age of Ultron PVE mode. Four new costumes also arrive: Spider-Man and Hulk receive Brand New Day skins, while Scarlet Witch gets her Avengers: Age of Ultron costume and Winter Soldier receives his Captain America: The Winter Soldier skin. The Marvel Rivals Ignite Series Mid-Season Finals also take place this week.

August 7 – Season 9.5 Coming Soon

August 7th marks the end of Season 9.0 and the beginning of Season 9.5! We will update this section as soon as we have more information about Season 9.5.
