Winter Soldier's primary weapon is a handgun that fires projectile rounds that have a slight delay at really long ranges. His grapple ability also relies on understanding range, making a well-designed crosshair important. Below is a crosshair that I specifically use for Winter Soldier that highlights both his aim and grapple range.
Note: While these settings work well for most Winter Soldier players, feel free to adjust them to match your personal playstyle.
Best Winter Soldier Crosshair in Marvel Rivals
Winter Soldier's best crosshair has a center dot, crosshair lines, and an outer circle. Each part serves a specific purpose in his kit. Here's what each part does:
- Center Dot: Helps you aim accurately. You can use this dot as a reference for up to 30m.
- Crosshair Lines: These help you lead shots at longer ranges (30+ meters). Winter Soldier's shots have a high projectile speed of 180 m/s, but at very long distances, you'll still need to lead moving targets slightly. (The target in the video above is 45-50m away)
- Outer Circle: Shows you when enemies are within your grapple range. As long as a part of the target is inside this circle (and you are within the range), your fully-charged grapple will hit them. Remember that your grapple has a maximum range of 20 meters with a full charge. (As you can notice in the video above, we don't have our dot aimed at the target, but we are still able to hook them if they have a part of them inside the circle)
Your Bionic Hook grapple can reach different distances based on how long you charge it. A quick press reaches about 10 meters, while a full 4-second charge extends to 20 meters.

Why These Settings Work for Winter Soldier

Winter Soldier is a Duelist with a powerful close-to-mid-range presence. This crosshair helps with both his shooting and abilities.
The clean dot in the center helps you aim your handgun when you're at close to medium range (under 30 meters). Since Winter Soldier's shots have a high projectile speed, you won't need to lead your shots much at these distances.
The outer circle lets you know when enemies are in grapple range. This is useful because your Bionic Hook can pull opponents toward you, letting you separate important targets from their team or finish off fleeing enemies.
Try these settings and adjust them if needed. You might want to change the colors or sizes based on your preference.
