- Power Absorption: Rogue's signature ability lets her take down an enemy hero and absorb abilities from them. She gets a basic buff based on their role and may even steal signature abilities like Doctor Strange's Shield of the Seraphim or Loki's Regeneration Domain.
- Ultimate Ability: When Rogue activates her ultimate, she continuously drains ultimate ability energy from nearby enemies, giving her team the advantage and gaining further buffs based on enemy roles.
Team-Up Changes in Marvel Rivals Season 5.5
Season 5.5 brings another round of team-up ability adjustments with removals and new additions.
Removed Team-Ups
- Mental Projection (Emma Frost and Psylocke) is being completely removed from the game.
Team-Up Adjustments and New Abilities
- Emma Frost is joining Chilling Assault, gaining the new ability Ice Out Diamond. She can unleash a cone of frost to slow enemies and use her diamond form to create a wall of diamond ice, blocking enemy movement.
- Psylocke is joining Sword of Duality, gaining control over light and dark energy. With light energy, she throws a returning shuriken that damages enemies and heals Psylocke based on the number of targets hit. With dark energy, she scatters a ring of darts, damaging enemies in range and entering a phase state to become invisible.
- Rogue is joining Explosive Entanglement. Gambit channels kinetic energy into Rogue, and when she activates the ability, every attack she makes damages enemies around her and heals nearby allies.
Jeff's Winter Splash Festival Returns
Jeff's Winter Splash Festival returns with a brand-new map called Jeff Land. This map introduces a three-way battle featuring three distinct Jeff builds, each equipped with unique abilities. The festival also offers a variety of holiday and winter-themed costumes along with festive events to celebrate the season.
