Marvel Rivals Season 6 is launching with massive updates! The developers have revealed the complete roadmap for Season 6, featuring Deadpool as the game's first triple-role hero, a new Museum of Contemplation map, Times Square expansions, and plenty of new costumes. January 16 - Season 6.0 Release

Season 6 of Marvel Rivals launches on January 16, 2026, bringing Deadpool to the roster as the game's first triple-role hero capable of playing Vanguard, Duelist, or Strategist! Along with his arrival, players can grab his Captain Pool costume bundle from the store.

The Museum Ticket Battle Pass debuts with stunning skins for 10 heroes including Invisible Woman (Prism Parade), Venom (Space Corsair), Storm (Queen of Wakanda), Black Panther (King of Wakanda), Mantis (Galactic Gladiator), Moon Knight (King of Clubs), Wolverine (Winter Soldier), Blade (Vampire Slayer), Winter Soldier (Bucky), and Star-Lord (Luminous Legend).

The Whac-A-Jeff event kicks off on the same day, challenging players to complete missions and catch Jeff in an arcade-style mini-game. Complete missions to unlock Jeff's exclusive 8-Bit Bash costume for free, along with gallery cards, units, and other cosmetics.

The Hero Proficiency System receives a major upgrade with significantly raised level caps and new rewards, including units, unstable molecules, nameplates, titles, and sprays.

Two new team-up abilities arrive: Parker Power Up (Peni Parker and Spider-Man) and Mr Pool's Interdimensional Toy Box (Deadpool and Jeff The Land Shark). However, two team-ups are being removed: Ever Burning Bond (Human Torch and Spider-Man) and Rocket Network (Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Peni Parker).

January 23 - Disco Revolution

  • New Costume (Luna Snow & Thor - Disco Revolution!)
  • Times Square Event (Disco Night)

Luna Snow and Thor both receive disco-themed costumes. Times Square transforms for a special Disco Night celebration where players can dance and party in the social hub.

January 30 - Clobberin Club Arrives

  • New Map (Museum of Contemplation)
  • Times Square Expansion (The Clobberin Club)
  • New Costume (Angela & Emma Frost - Trumps of the Grandmaster)
  • New Event (Flight Mode! World Tour Merch)

January 30th introduces the Museum of Contemplation, a brand-new Convoy map. Times Square receives major expansions with the opening of the Clobberin Club, where players can challenge others to duels. Spend a small amount of units to broadcast your match live on the big screens throughout Times Square! The Flight Mode! World Tour Merch event also begins on this date.

February 2 - Mecha & Mutant Costumes

  • New Costume (Groot - Mecha-Flora)
  • New Costume (Magneto - Quiet Council of Krakoa!)

February 2nd features two new looks! Groot transforms into Mecha-Flora while Magneto receives his Quiet Council of Krakoa costume.

February 13 - Season 6.5 Coming Soon

  • Season 6.5 begins
  • New Hero (Elsa Bloodstone)

February 13th marks the beginning of Season 6.5 and the addition of Elsa Bloodstone to the Marvel Rivals roster. One of Doctor Strange's previous team-up abilities returns in a new form during this mid-season update. Full details about Season 6.5 haven't been revealed yet!

What's Leaving in Season 6

Season 6 also removes some content based on community feedback and data analysis:

  • Resource Rumble and its map are being removed from Quick Match
  • Marvel Zombies mode is officially retired after two extensions (a new PVE mode is promised for the first half of 2026)
