After Rogue’s release in Season 5.5, players are now gearing up for even more exciting content. New, and incredibly FUN, heroes are set to join the roster in the upcoming season. Marvel Rivals Season 6 Release Date
Marvel Rivals Season 6, titled Night at the Museum, is scheduled to release on January 16, 2026. This lines up with the usual one-month update cycle, as Season 5.5 launched on December 12.
The exact release time has not been confirmed, but based on previous season launches, Season 6 is expected to go live around 11 AM UTC.
Season 6 New Heroes
Now let’s talk about the big guns, and quite literally, because both new heroes bring out the guns. Based on the Season 6 trailer, Deadpool is confirmed as the next playable character. It’s about time NetEase added the Merc With a Mouth to the roster.
Deadpool is, surprise surprise, a triple-role character! Yes, the tease and community theories have finally come true. His basic kit revolves around dual guns and katanas, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to switch roles mid-game. Depending on the role you choose, his specialty skill changes, allowing him to adapt to different team needs on the fly.
As for the mysterious woman holding a rifle at the end of the cinematic trailer? That, my friend, is Elsa Bloodstone. Elsa is a powerful monster hunter with enhanced strength and supernatural abilities granted by the Bloodstone choker. She could fill either a Duelist or Strategist role, depending on how her magic and firepower are implemented.
Season 6 New Map
The Season 6 Dev Vision revealed that the previously leaked Collector’s Museum will be a new Convoy map called Museum of Contemplation. This new map is set to release with the January 29 update.

Season 6 of Marvel Rivals will have new Team-Ups and changes to the existing ones:

Season 6 New Events
Season 6 will introduce a new Whac-A-Jeff event, where players can earn the Jeff 8-Bit Bash skin along with other rewards. This event will go live at the start of Season 6 on January 16, 2026.
We’ll also be getting another event called Flight Mode! on January 30, according to the Season 6 Roadmap.
Season 6 New Skins
Just like previous seasons, expect many new skins to be introduced. Naturally, Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone will each have alternative skins at launch.
Deadpool will be getting a cool pirate-themed skin called Captain Pool. It’s an Epic-tier skin that marks the arrival of the Merc with a Mouth in the game.
The Season 6 Battle Pass will also reward players with 10 new skins, with Invisible Woman – Prism Parade and Venom – Space Corsair being the highlights.

As with previous seasons, each new Marvel Rivals season usually includes subtle hints pointing toward upcoming characters, maps, or future content.
One of the most notable hints appears in the Gallery Card, which strongly suggests Black Cat and White Fox as potential Season 7 characters.
Another, more subtle tease can be found in Deadpool’s character trailer, where he mentions that he will be a Vanguard before Colossus and Juggernaut. Could it be a hint that these iconic X-Men characters are also planned to join the roster in the near future?
