Collector's Theme Park Map Leaks
Several leaks have pointed toward the possibility of the Collector’s Theme Park becoming the new map in Marvel Rivals Season 5. One of the strongest hints comes from the new Spider-Man skin, Man-Spider, which features a background emblem resembling the Collector’s Theme Park. This is a significant clue, as previous skins have also featured emblems that align with their respective seasonal themes.
It’s not entirely surprising, considering there has been a voice line interaction between <strong>Rocket Raccoon</strong> and <strong>Mantis</strong> since Season 1, where Mantis says, “Then we’ll free everyone from the Collector’s Theme Park, yes?” Could NetEase have included this intentionally? Either way, it suggests that this map has been in development for quite some time.
In addition to the in-game interactions, there are also leaked voice lines hinting at the upcoming map:
"I know all too well I was once one of the Collector's prized posessions. And we can make the Collector pay for what he's done here."
"I cannot bear the thought of being trapped in one of the Collector's cages. The Collector has caged so many innocent beings. How inhumane."
"I have escaped this horrid place before. I have no doubt I will do so again."
"But you escaped, and now we have to free the others. This isn't a theme park, it's a prison."
"I happen to be a collector myself. So many tortured souls gathered for the taking."
These are some of the leaked voice lines that revolve around the theme park, and they clearly reference Taneleer Tivan’s collection of prized possessions.
Possible Howard the Duck Involvement
Marvel Comics fans will no doubt expect one unique character, Howard the Duck, to appear if the new map is indeed the Collector’s Theme Park. This speculation may actually hold some truth, as recent leaks have revealed Howard the Duck’s possible involvement in the game through leaked voice lines.
One of the leaked exchanges features Human Torch, who says:
- "Easy, we're up against some real heavy hitters. One wrong move, and our goose is cooked."
- "Either way, I bet you'll roast up real nice. Keep quacking, and you'll find out soon enough."
It appears that Howard will only serve as a payload asset, most likely contained within one of the Collector’s glass cages. It’s definitely exciting to see him make an appearance in the game.
Areas You Can Expect
Based on leaks and comic lore, if the new map is indeed the Collector’s Theme Park, you can expect to see the following areas:
- Collector’s Museum – The iconic location where Tivan keeps his prisoners inside stacked glass cages for display. Expect some new achievements related to this area.
- The Garden – A lush, green area filled with flora and alien plants. This is where Mantis was once held as a prisoner in this universe.
- The Arena – A combat zone where Tivan forces his prisoners to fight for his amusement.
