Dazzler is a mutant artist and singer with unique energy-based powers, making her a strong candidate for a future addition to the Marvel Rivals roster. But who exactly is she? What can she do? And what kind of role, abilities, and gameplay style could she bring to Marvel Rivals? Let's break it all down here.
Marvel Rivals Dazzler Leaks

Currently, there are no leaks suggesting that Dazzler will appear in Marvel Rivals. However, there is a noticeable hint in the form of a poster that teases her potential inclusion. This poster can be found on the Midtown map, which is known for its numerous easter eggs and references to Marvel comic lore.
To locate the poster, enter a match on the Midtown map. From the attacking side’s first spawn area, head to the building directly in front of it. Go to the second floor, climb onto the ledge, and look to the right side of the wall, you’ll spot Dazzler’s poster there.
The poster reads “Dazzler – Light the World – World Tour” and features a silhouette of her figure. While this might simply be an easter egg, it could also be a subtle hint that the singer/mutant may appear in a future Marvel Rivals update.
Dazzler Abilities and Role Prediction

Alison Blaire, also known as Dazzler, is a mutant who first discovered her powers during a high school dance. When a group of bikers attacked the party, she instinctively released a powerful burst of blinding light that protected her and stopped the chaos. After realizing what she could do, Alison created her own costume, stage style, and identity as “The Dazzler,” blending her love for music with her mutant abilities.
Dazzler’s main power is the ability to absorb sound and turn it into light. Any noise around her, music, voices, or even loud impacts, can fuel her abilities. She can also release stored sound in a single burst and use her powers to roughly locate shapes behind obstacles, similar to a simple form of echolocation.

Using the light she creates, Dazzler can perform a wide range of effects. She can blind enemies with bright flashes, fire laser-like beams, create concussive photon blasts, and light up dark areas. She can also make strobe effects, colorful dazzles, holograms, and even lift herself upward with a burst of light. With enough focus, she can form shields, create misty light, destroy metal with ultraviolet waves, and shoot powerful beams from her eyes.
She is likely to be a Strategist, capable of healing and shielding allies. These traits can shape her potential abilities in Marvel Rivals, such as:
- Light energy blasts as her basic attack
- Blinding enemies using concentrated light
- Pushing enemies back with photon blasts
- Creating hologram duplicates to confuse opponents
- Enhanced mobility, such as high jumping
- Providing shields to nearby teammates
- Passive ability that allows her to see enemies through walls
Dazzler Gameplay Prediction
If Dazzler is introduced as a Strategist, which would be a fitting role for her, she may end up with a kit similar to Invisible Woman. Her basic light-energy attack could potentially function as a healing ability for teammates, and she would likely be able to provide shields as well.
It would also make sense for Dazzler to focus more on crowd control rather than pure offense or high-value healing. Abilities such as blinding enemies, pushing targets back, and creating holograms align well with the kind of utility-focused gameplay a Strategist hero offers.
When Will Dazzler Release?
Just like Black Cat, who was teased through a billboard in Times Square map, Dazzler is unlikely to be introduced in the near future. NetEase usually teases upcoming heroes through Gallery Cards, as seen with Angela, Daredevil, Gambit, and Rogue in previous seasons. This suggests that Dazzler will likely arrive later on, possibly in 2026, if she is indeed planned as a playable character.
It’s exciting to imagine what Dazzler could bring to Marvel Rivals. Who knows? She might even be introduced around the time Dazzler appears in the MCU, with Sabrina Carpenter rumored to be one of the strongest candidates for the role.
