NetEase has outlined the upcoming content set to release throughout Season 5.5, including a new hero, winter events, holiday-themed costumes, and more! Here's the complete roadmap for Season 5.5:
December 12 - Season 5.5 Release
- New Hero (Rogue)
- New Costume (Rogue - Savage South & Rocket Raccoon - Rocket of the Rafters)
- New Event (Seeds of the Gardener)
Season 5.5 of Marvel Rivals launches on December 12, 2025, and brings the highly requested mutant to the game! Rogue joins the roster as a Vanguard hero with her signature power absorption abilities. Along with her arrival, players can grab her exclusive Savage South costume and a new Rocket of the Rafters skin for Rocket Raccoon.
The Seeds of the Gardener event kicks off on the same day. This event works like a pass system, where you can earn one free skin while two premium skins are available for those who purchase the pass. The event features costumes for Iron Man (Mark I - Free), Iron Fist (Shenloong Champion), and Captain America (Capwolf). Complete missions and level up to unlock these rewards!
December 19 - Winter Festival Begins

December 19th brings the return of Jeff's Winter Splash Festival! The festival arrives with a brand-new map called Jeffland, featuring a three-way battle with three distinct Jeff builds, each equipped with unique abilities.
The Holiday Special event launches on the same day, bringing winter-themed costumes for multiple heroes. Based on the event splash art, holiday skins will include outfits for Squirrel Girl, Daredevil, Winter Soldier, Peni Parker, and Star-Lord.
December 26 - More Holiday Costumes

December 26th continues the holiday celebration with two more winter costumes! Cloak & Dagger and Thor both receive Winter Holiday 2025 skins. The Times Square map gets festive with a New Year Ball Drop countdown feature.
January 2

- Mystery Costume
January 2nd brings a new costume for Human Torch called Trumps of the Grandmaster. An additional mystery skin is also set to release on this date, though details haven't been revealed yet.
January 9 - Cosmic Power

January 9th features two new costumes! Phoenix gets her Ice Phoenix transformation while Adam Warlock receives the Cosmic Warlock skin.
