Times Square Map: All Easter Eggs

Times Square is a non-combat social map in Marvel Rivals, designed for players to hang out and chat with one another. The map is filled with fun easter eggs, some of which may even hint at upcoming characters. Here’s a look at all the easter eggs you can find in the Times Square map in Marvel Rivals.

Black Cat

The first, and probably most exciting easter egg in Times Square is the Black Cat wanted poster. The poster shows her real name, Felicia Hardy, alongside her anti-hero alias. What makes this particularly interesting is that it works not only as a fun easter egg, but also as a potential hint toward her future inclusion in the game.

Black Cat is a fan-favorite anti-hero in Marvel Comics, known for her complicated romantic history with Spider-Man. She’s a nimble, quick, and powerful cat burglar who has caused trouble countless times across different storylines.

If this poster does turn out to be a hint, here’s a detailed breakdown of Black Cat’s predicted role, abilities, and gameplay based on her lore.

Van Dyne's

Van Dyne's Boutique is a fashion design store owned by Hope Van Dyne, also known as The Wasp. In Marvel Rivals, many hero skins are actually designed and produced by Van Dyne’s Boutique:

This doesn’t seem to be a hint for The Wasp becoming a playable character, it's more of a lore-based easter egg that adds world-building to the game.

Mayor Fisk

This huge Wilson Fisk poster shows that NYC in Marvel Rivals is currently under Kingpin’s control. It’s a cool easter egg that gives us a clear look at how he appears in the Rivals universe. But the real question is: is it just a poster, or could it be a hint at his future inclusion as a playable character?

While there are no leaks supporting this yet, many players are hoping that Kingpin will eventually join the roster as a Vanguard, which would be a very exciting addition.

Ardmore's Bookstore

Ardmore's Bookstore is an easter egg that traces back to 1988, first appearing in Amazing Spider-Man #308. In that issue, Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, shows up for a book-signing event, highlighting just how friendly and community-oriented he is as a neighborhood hero.

Oscorp Building

If you’re a fan of the Spider-Man series, you’ll instantly recognize Oscorp Industries. Owned by Norman Osborn, this multibillion-dollar corporation was first introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #37 by Stan Lee back in March 1966.

This is most likely just an easter egg, but it would be incredibly exciting if it also serves as a subtle hint toward Green Goblin eventually joining the Marvel Rivals roster.

Daily Bugle

This tall building with the iconic purple-reddish DB logo is Marvel Rivals’ version of the Daily Bugle headquarters. The Daily Bugle is a staple New York City tabloid newspaper in Marvel lore. Once again, this easter egg ties back to Spider-Man’s world and the rich comic history surrounding it.

Pym Test Kitchen

PYM Test Kitchen is actually a real concept restaurant located in Avengers Campus at Disneyland’s California Adventure theme park. This quick-service spot serves food and drinks that are “revolutionized” by Pym Particle technology, featuring oversized soda cans, giant condiment bottles, and massive cellphones repurposed as menu boards, fun times all around!

Opened in 2021, it’s still up and running if you ever want to experience it for yourself.

Roxxon Energy

Roxxon Energy is a multinational oil and gas corporation headquartered in New York City. Throughout Marvel’s history, Roxxon has been involved in numerous criminal activities and has even been linked to HYDRA. The company first appeared in Marvel Comics in Captain America #180, published in 1974.

Alchemax

Similar to Roxxon, Alchemax is also a multinational corporation, but it operates primarily in the chemical industry. Initially formed as a merged coalition of Allan Chemical and Oscorp, it was later revealed that Norman Osborn, under the alias Mason Banks, was the true founder. He created Alchemax to secure a powerful future for his grandson and to build a lasting empire for the Osborn legacy.

A twisted corporate history, perfect material for an easter egg in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Unlimited

Marvel Unlimited is Marvel’s official online comic book platform. Many Marvel Rivals skins were actually teased in Marvel Unlimited comics first, including the swimsuit cosmetics and the Hellfire Gala outfits.

Including the store as an easter egg in Times Square is a really cool touch.

Universal Bank

Universal Bank is one of the most powerful financial institutions in the Marvel universe. Located in Bern, Switzerland, it has served as a discreet meeting place for some of the wealthiest and most influential figures on the planet.

One of its biggest gatherings included major names such as Tiberius Stone of Alchemax, Zeke Stane of Stane International, a representative from Roxxon, and even the Kingpin himself, Wilson Fisk.

With that in mind, all of these easter eggs could easily serve as early lore-building in Marvel Rivals, possibly hinting at future villain additions like Wilson Fisk or even the Green Goblin.

Nelson & Murdock Law Firm

Last but not least, tucked behind one of the buildings is a billboard for the Nelson & Murdock Law Firm. This works as a fun New York–themed easter egg, especially since Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil, was officially introduced back in Season 4.

That wraps up all the easter eggs you can find in the Times Square map in Marvel Rivals. Could the Black Cat poster be a subtle hint toward her future inclusion as a playable character? It’s hard to say for sure, but it’s definitely something to hope for!
