Marvel Rivals is launching a new event for Season 7.5. The ESU Open Day event starts on April 17th and brings new themed skins for Psylocke, Squirrel Girl, and Mantis. Like a lot of previous events, this one follows a battle pass-style system where you earn XP to unlock rewards across multiple levels. Let’s take a look at all the rewards and event details.
Marvel Rivals ESU Open Day Event Duration
The ESU Open Day Event starts on April 17th alongside Season 7.5. The event works like a battle pass system where you earn XP by playing matches to progress through different reward tiers. The event will have both premium and free tracks. If you purchase the premium pass, you’ll have permanent access to unlock the rewards even after the event ends.

The ESU Open Day event features three new costumes for different heroes. Here’s a list of all the skins available in the event:

All ESU Open Day Event Rewards
The event includes a mix of rewards such as emojis, sprays, nameplates, and collectibles along with the featured skins. Free players can unlock Mantis’ Black & Gold costume by progressing through the event, while premium pass holders get access to exclusive rewards also. The rewards are spread across multiple pages, and you’ll need to level up your pass by playing matches.

How to Get Free Mantis Skin in Marvel Rivals
Mantis’ Black & Gold costume is available for free during the ESU Open Day event. You don’t need to buy anything—just play matches, earn XP, and progress through the event pass to unlock it. If you want the Psylocke and Squirrel Girl skins, you’ll need to purchase the premium pass.
What Else is Coming in Season 7.5
The ESU Open Day event isn’t the only content arriving in Season 7.5. The mid-season update brings multiple events, new modes, and several free skins throughout the roadmap.
On April 24th, the Hellfire Gala 2026 event begins. This update also comes with the new Blood Hunt PVE mode along with themed costumes for several heroes. Emma Frost’s Hellfire Gala skin will be available for free during this event, while other skins like Magik and Gambit will be in the store.
The following week on May 1st, the Path to Doomsday: The Avengers mode goes live as a new PVP mode. This update also adds new costumes for Loki and Iron Man, along with Elsa Bloodstone’s Black, White and Broom skin. Later in the season on May 8th, more skins arrive including Winter Soldier’s Space Outlaws costume and Venom’s War of the Realms look.
Season 7.5 wraps up on May 15th, with Season 8 set to begin right after.
