Dev Vision Vol. 16 is out, confirming Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 to release on April 17, 2026. While the exact release time has not been confirmed yet, based on previous updates, it is expected to go live around 9:00 AM UTC.

Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 New Hero
The new playable hero in Season 7.5 is Black Cat. She is a Duelist, with a kit that makes her highly mobile, nimble, and deadly in stealthy engagements.
She is a melee-focused character with skills such as wall climbing, grappling movement, dash attacks, and lethal sneak attack. Her unique playstyle is that she can use stolen artifacts to help her in combat.

New PvE Mode: Blood Hunt
A brand-new PvE mode will be arriving sooner than expected. Blood Hunt PvE is set to release with the April 23 update. The mode introduces a new storyline, four epic boss battles, a new hero progression and trait system, and an updated loot system.
Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 New Skins
A new 2026 Hellfire Gala skin set is set to arrive with the April 23 update. These skins include Hellfire Gala-themed outfits for Magik, Gambit, Moon Knight, Emma Frost, and Phoenix.
Additionally, the winner of the 2025 Hellfire Gala community vote, the Emma Frost Gala Star costume, will be available to claim for free for all players.
Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 Balance Changes
Season 7.5 is set to bring more balance changes, alongside the new Chain-CC Protection system. If a Hero suffers 5.5 seconds of total CC duration or is hit by 6 CC effects within a 7-second window, Chain-CC Protection activates. This instantly purges all active CC effects and grants the Hero 30% Tenacity for 3 seconds.
