How to Play Daredevil

Daredevil is a Duelist built for one purpose: locking onto a target and relentlessly hunting them down. His entire kit is designed around single-target pursuit, punishing enemies one by one with precision and pressure.

Thanks to his heightened senses, Daredevil can passively detect enemies through walls, making him an excellent counter to flankers. This ability gives him superior positioning awareness and the element of surprise in close encounters.

Unlike brawlers such as Magik, who thrive in chaotic team fights, Daredevil demands a more tactical approach. To maximize his potential, players must carefully identify and prioritize high-value targets before diving in.

Positioning

Daredevil’s passive wall-climb allows him to easily navigate elevated terrain, giving him access to stronger positioning options. His ideal playstyle is similar to a flanker, staying out of the center of the fight and instead lurking around corners, rooftops, and hidden angles.

Use wall-climbing to secure vantage points, then rely on his Shift ability to quickly close the gap and catch enemy backliners or flankers off guard.

The only time Daredevil should commit to the middle of a team fight is when he has Hellfire charges ready to unleash his AoE skills, or when his Ultimate is available to swing the momentum of battle.

Objection!

This skill is Daredevil’s bread and butter, and mastering it separates great players from average ones. Timing is everything; using it recklessly in every fight is a mistake.

Save this ability for countering enemies with strong crowd-control skills, such as Squirrel Girl, Luna Snow, or Bruce Banner. These heroes will often throw out their stun or disable when Daredevil is closing in, making them prime targets for a well-timed counter.

To make the most of this skill, study enemy patterns—how they move, when they cast, and the order of their abilities. Perfecting this timing is difficult, but that’s the point. It’s meant to be a high-skill mechanic, and once mastered, it becomes a game-changing tool in Daredevil’s kit.

Ultimate

Daredevil’s Ultimate inflicts fear on all enemies within its AoE, gradually rendering them nearsighted. This makes it an excellent tool for disrupting enemy Ultimate combos or swinging the momentum during chaotic team fights.

When using this ability, maintain focus on a single priority target instead of switching around too quickly. Daredevil shines when he applies relentless pressure, forcing one enemy to retreat, lose focus, or misplay under the fear effect. Keeping that pressure consistent can create openings for your team to clean up the fight.

His Fury also regenerates rapidly during his Ultimate state. Take advantage of this window to spam abilities and unleash massive bursts of damage.

Daredevil Team-Up Ability

Daredevil joins the roster in Season 4.5, along with a new Team-Up ability called Bestial Hunt. In this Team-Up, Daredevil shares the location of his Sonic Pursuit target with The Punisher. At the same time, The Punisher can launch a devil-infused shock grenade to damage and Blind enemies.
