Marvel Mystic Mayhem Tier List & All Characters

Marvel Mystic Mayhem is a new mobile tactical game featuring exciting heroes and combat strategies. In this guide, all available characters will be listed and ranked from best to worst for each class.

Mystic Mayhem Characters

There are currently a total of 34 characters available, with four different classes: Defender, Fighter, Striker, and Controller.

Defender

Defender-class characters are frontliners with the ability to withstand damage and serve as the team's tank.

Fighter

Fighters in Mystic Mayhem are melee heroes capable of dealing heavy single-target and AoE damage. They serve as the team’s secondary frontline.

Striker

Strikers are long-range damage dealers capable of delivering heavy burst damage with a high chance of landing critical hits.

Controller

Controllers in Mystic Mayhem are characters with kits designed to support allies through buffs and healing. They are backliners who keep the team alive.

Mystic Mayhem Character Tier List

This tier list is based on the current state of the test server and is subject to change upon global launch or with future updates.

Now, let’s take a look at how the characters are ranked:

  • S Tier: Top-tier powerhouses that dominate their class. They deal massive damage, have strong sustain, and are overall the most effective heroes in the current meta.
  • A Tier: Excellent characters with strong damage potential and supportive abilities. While not as dominant as S Tier, they are still reliable and versatile picks.
  • B Tier: Solid characters who can complement stronger teammates. They offer some utility but may struggle to shine without support from higher-tier characters.
  • C Tier: Characters with limited utility and less impactful kits. They're suitable for the early game and can perform decently with the right Highlights and team compositions, but are generally outclassed in later stages.

Defender Tier List

Armor currently stands as the best Defender in Mystic Mayhem. She’s a F2P character with the qualities of a true tank, capable of generating strong shields and, most importantly, taunting enemies to focus their attacks on her.

Juggernaut is really good, but he requires scaling to reach his full potential. With enough duplicates and upgrades, he becomes extremely powerful at higher levels. In the end-game, with multiple dupes and max enhancements, Juggernaut is a true powerhouse, surpassing Armor.

Hulk is another reliable F2P option, able to soak up damage, regenerate, and deal decent AoE damage. He's an ideal pick for teams built around area damage.

Captain America serves as a solid Defender who can tank incoming damage, taunt enemies, and buff allies. His strength lies in his semi-supportive kit, making him a perfect pick for fast-clearing team compositions.

Angela and Sentry are solid choices for content with fewer enemies. While both can deal respectable damage, they lack the full tanking capabilities that make Armor so effective.

Fighter Tier List

Thor is the best Fighter in the current state of Mystic Mayhem. His basic attack is devastating, thanks to his chain lightning passive. His dash deals massive AoE damage, and his Ultimate currently delivers the highest AoE damage among all Fighters, covering a large area. He can even surpass a Striker's damage output, which speaks volumes.

Psylocke and Echo are the next best Fighters, thanks to their follow-up attacks and powerful single-target skill damage. Black Knight is also a strong single-target damage dealer, and with Artifacts that enhance his basic DMG and ATK Speed, he will be a strong killing machine.

However, thanks to Echo’s passive that grants her the same ATK as the highest ATK in the team, she can be built with high HP and DEF, making her a powerful frontline unit. This flexibility is what elevates her to S-Tier.

Moon Knight and Doppelganger aren’t bad picks, but they lack raw damage and heavily depend on duplicates and max upgrades to truly shine.

Mister Negative relies heavily on debuffed enemies, without them, his damage falls short compared to other Fighters. However, with the right team composition, he has the potential to rise a tier.

Striker Tier List

Scarlet Witch, Lady Bullseye, and Iron Man are all top-tier Strikers in Mystic Mayhem. Iron Man excels at dealing heavy AoE damage, Scarlet Witch delivers massive critical hits with her skills, and Lady Bullseye is unmatched when it comes to eliminating single-target enemies.

Misty Knight, a starter character, is also a strong pick, capable of dealing significant single-target and AoE damage with her arsenal, making her a solid second-tier Striker.

Storm and Human Torch are both solid AoE damage dealers. However, their overall damage and utility fall slightly short compared to Iron Man and Scarlet Witch.

Thread lacks consistent damage on his own, but with the right team composition, he can be a valuable asset. He performs best in summoner-based teams, especially when paired with characters like Moon Girl and Man-Thing.

Controller Tier List

Doctor Strange and Emma Frost sit at the top tier of the Controller class, offering immense value to almost any team composition. Doctor Strange’s healing output is unmatched; however, he’s best played manually, as auto-play often fails to use his kit effectively.

Emma truly lives up to her title as queen in Mystic Mayhem. She can heal, deal damage, buff allies, and debuff enemies. Her versatile kit allows her to handle nearly all types of game content with ease.

Invisible Woman is also a top-tier Controller. She excels at crowd control, capable of blinding enemies and applying debuffs that increase the Ultimate damage they take. She can render teammates invisible while boosting their ATK. While she lacks healing abilities, she is an excellent Controller for quickly clearing content at the same level.

Sleepwalker is currently the second-best healer, with an Ultimate that deals heavy damage to all enemies, making him a strong hybrid support. Spider-Man, on the other hand, isn't focused on healing but excels at debuffing enemies and dealing decent damage, making him perfect for fast raid clears when paired with the right team.

Moon Girl is a really strong controller, especially with the addition of Devil Dinosaur and enhanced buffs for summoned minions. To maximize her potential, she needs to be paired with summoner-focused heroes like Man-Thing and Thread.

While Loki can deal significant damage, apply the Frozen debuff to enemies, and summon a taunt unit, he lacks essential Controller tools such as healing or shielding. He performs well as a semi-DPS, but falls short as a true Controller. This is why he remains in A-Tier, unlike S-Tier Controllers, who provide much stronger team sustain and survivability.

Falcon starts off weak, but with multiple dupes and max upgrades, he can become a viable Controller in the right team composition.
