Here's the process:
Step 1: Get Into a Lower Manhattan Match
Queue for quick match or competitive mode and wait until you get the Lower Manhattan map. Since maps rotate randomly, it might take a few tries before it shows up. Make sure it's a public match. Custom games won't count for this achievement.
Step 2: Play as the Defending Team
You need to be on the defending side for this achievement. Your job is to stop the attackers from capturing the point and escorting the payload to the finish line. Quick matches put you on a random side. If you get attacking instead, you can work on the Vault Deposit achievement, then queue again for another chance at defense. Competitive mode lets you play both sides, so that's another option.
Step 3: Win the Match as Defender
Once you're defending, just win the round. Stop the attackers from pushing the payload all the way through the streets. Successfully defending and winning triggers a special cutscene. That's when the achievement registers. Stay in the match until it completely ends. Leaving early might stop the achievement from counting.
