Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol 13: Season 6 Preview

The latest Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol 13 revealed various updates coming with Season 6. With Deadpool joining as the game's first triple-role hero, a new Museum of Contemplation map, Times Square expansions including photo mode, and major hero proficiency system upgrades, the developers are delivering another big update. Season 6 launches on January 16, 2026.

New Character in Season 6

  • Note: In Quick Match and Competitive modes, only one Deadpool can appear on each team.

Team-Up Changes in Marvel Rivals Season 6

Season 6 brings new team-up abilities and removes existing ones as the roster continues to evolve.

New Team-Ups in Season 6

Two brand new team-up abilities are being added:

  • Parker Power Up (Peni Parker and Spider-Man):
  • Mr Pool's Interdimensional Toy Box (Deadpool and Jeff the Land Shark)

The developers are also bringing back one of Doctor Strange's previous team-up abilities in a new form, arriving in Season 6.5.

Removed Team-Ups

Two team-ups are being completely removed:

  • Ever Burning Bond (Human Torch and Spider-Man)
  • Peni Parker is disconnecting from Rocket Network (Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon)

Team-Up Adjustments

No specific team-up adjustments were detailed for Season 6.0, but changes are coming in Season 6.5.

New Map: Museum of Contemplation

Season 6 introduces the Museum of Contemplation, a new Convoy map launching with the January 29th update.

Times Square Updates

Times Square receives major expansions in Season 6 with new features and activities.

Photo Mode

Season 6 introduces photo mode to Times Square. Players can adjust camera angles, choose filters, and capture epic moments with friends in the social hub.

Clobberin Club

A new area called the Clobberin Club opens in Times Square after the January 29th update. Players can challenge others to duels in this location. If you spend a small amount of units, your match will be broadcast live on the big screens throughout Times Square.

Hero Proficiency System Upgrade

After five seasons, many players have already reached high proficiency with their favorite heroes. Season 6 brings a major upgrade to the hero proficiency system.

The level cap for each hero is being raised significantly. New rewards include units, unstable molecules, nameplates, titles, nameplate frames, badges, dynamic avatars, and more. This gives dedicated players more ways to showcase their mastery with specific heroes.

New Accessories

Season 6 adds a new batch of accessories for the following heroes:

  • Deadpool
  • Rogue
  • Doctor Strange
  • Blade
  • Squirrel Girl
  • Iron Man
  • Captain America
  • Daredevil
  • Black Panther
  • Storm

All accessories are available with the Season 6 update.

Marvel Rivals Championship Updates

Starting with Season 6, the Marvel Rivals Championship is giving factions even richer rewards. Top factions will still earn cash prizes, while factions at every ranking can now win different amounts of units split among all members. Nameplates and sprays will be awarded to players who make it to open qualifier finals and actively participate.

College Student Exclusive Rewards

Season 6 unlocks a new collection of 10 costumes and MVP animations for verified college student players. University students can verify with their education email to unlock these exclusive benefits.

Game Mode Changes

Resource Rumble Removed

Based on data analysis and community feedback, Resource Rumble and its map are being removed from Quick Match.

Marvel Zombies Retired

The zombie mode has had its issues but received lots of love from the community, leading to two extensions. With the Season 6 update, Marvel Zombies will officially be retired. However, the developers promise to bring a brand new PVE mode in the first half of 2026.
