NetEase has outlined the upcoming content set to release throughout Season 5, including a new hero, anniversary celebration, an 18v18 game mode, and more! Here's the complete roadmap for Season 5:

November 14 - Season 5.0 Release

• New Hero (Gambit)
• New Map (Times Square)
• New Costumes (Gambit - Thieves Guildmaster & Magneto - Temporal Tyrant)
• New Event (Elder's Chessboard)
• New Battle Pass (Grand Garden Adventure)
• New Accessories (Gambit, Human Torch, Magik, Mantis, Wolverine, Phoenix, Thor, Loki, Moon Knight, and Star-Lord)

Season 5 of Marvel Rivals launches on November 14, 2025, marking the game's first anniversary! Gambit joins the roster as a strategist. Along with his arrival, players get his Thieves Guildmaster costume and a new Temporal Tyrant skin for Magneto.

The Times Square map debuts as a social hub where up to 100 players can hang out, dance, watch videos, and socialize. This is the first social space in Marvel Rivals.

The Elder's Chessboard event kicks off on the same day, offering a free Spider-Man Iron Spider costume as a reward for completing event missions. The Grand Garden Adventure Battle Pass launches with new skins on the same date.

November 21 - Van Dyne's Design

November 21st brings themed costumes for Magik and Doctor Strange.

November 28 - Anniversary Celebration & 18v18 Mode

• Anniversary Event (Galacta's Live Anniversary Costumes)
• New Map and Game Mode (Grand Garden - 18v18 Conquest Annihilation)

November 28th marks the major anniversary celebration! Galacta's Gift Anniversary event arrives with special anniversary costumes. The developers are rolling out a series of exclusive anniversary outfits, including Marvel Rivals-inspired looks, community-inspired designs, and cake party-themed costumes. The event also rewards players with 2,500 Units and a free legendary Jeff costume. List of all the characters in the splash art:

The massive 18v18 Conquest Annihilation mode launches on this date, featuring 36 players battling on the all-new Grand Garden map.

December 5 - Rivals' Day 2025

December 5th celebrates Rivals' Day 2025 with new costumes for Luna Snow and Psylocke. Details about the Rivals' Day event will be revealed closer to the date.

December 12 - Season 5.5 Coming Soon

• Season 5.5 begins

December 12th marks the beginning of Season 5.5 and the addition of Rogue to the Marvel Rivals roster. Full details about the mid-season update haven't been revealed yet!
