Marvel Rivals Leak Hints at Upcoming K’un-Lun Map

Recent leaks have revealed that Marvel's iconic location, K'un-Lun, is present in the Marvel Rivals game's database, thanks to the discovery of unreleased in-game voice lines. With multiple characters being teased and leaked, this possible map addition is only adding to the excitement among fans. So, when is K’un-Lun likely to be released, and which characters could be introduced alongside it? Let’s find out!

Marvel Rivals K'un-Lun Map Leak

Recently, trusted Marvel Rivals dataminer X0X_LEAK tweeted a series of unreleased voice lines suggesting that K'un-Lun might be coming soon as a new Convoy map. The leaked voice lines are:

  • "I will fight with honor in the trial to come. For Z'Gambo and for Krakoa."
  • "If we cannot complete this mission, we deserve the wrath of Shou-Lao."
  • "Doom must not prevail. Push onward to Shou-Lao!",
  • "If we cannot complete this mission, we deserve the wrath of Shou-Lao."

  • "If we deliver this tablet to Shou-Lao, we stop Doom. Got it? Good."

  • "Let's find Shou-Lao… and hope we don't end up dragon food…"
  • "If Shou-Lao wants this tablet, it's up to us to deliver."

From the leaked VOs, K’un-Lun appears to be a Convoy map where heroes are tasked with delivering a tablet to Shou-Lao in order to stop Doom.

Doom has been, and seemingly will continue to be, the mastermind behind many of the conflicts in Marvel Rivals lore. This aligns well with the current MCU direction, which is building towards Doomsday and, eventually, Secret Wars, a storyline in the comics that heavily revolves around Doom.

In the Marvel Rivals universe, these leaked voice lines also tie in neatly with the ongoing lore. As of Season 2.5’s Arakko arc, Emma Frost is shown making a desperate deal with Doom to save Arakko from Ultron. This may well mark the beginning of Doom’s next wave of manipulations.

When Will K'un-Lun Map Release?

As of the time of writing, there is no official information or strong indication of when K’un-Lun will be released. However, it’s unlikely to arrive in Season 3. Why? Because the current Gallery Card event suggests that the next season will have a Knull-themed focus. This implies that Season 3 will likely revolve around Klyntar and symbiote-related content.

The lore also hints at the arrival of Demiurge and other cosmic characters, possibly pointing toward the inclusion of Phoenix and Captain Marvel.

Given this direction, K’un-Lun may be introduced in Season 4 or 5, as there are currently no strong hints about the themes of those future seasons.

What Characters Will Be Released Alongside K'un-Lun?

There are several names that could be tied to K’un-Lun. Naturally, Iron Fist is the first character that comes to mind, he’s synonymous with the mystical city. However, since Iron Fist has been part of Marvel Rivals since Season 0, fans are curious about who else might be connected to this iconic location.

Interestingly, two characters that have been leaked and are believed to be released soon, White Fox and Daredevil, have notable ties to K’un-Lun.

White Fox was previously leaked along with her potential abilities, which strongly supports her future inclusion. Her connection to K’un-Lun comes through her close friendship with Lin Lie (Iron Fist) as part of the Agents of Atlas in the comics.

Daredevil has also been leaked, with one of his abilities surfacing online. While he doesn’t have a direct link to K’un-Lun, he is often seen battling the mystical organization known as The Hand, which has strong ties to the city. In the comics, Daredevil has also trained alongside Iron Fist, adding another layer to their shared history.

That said, these are still educated predictions based on lore and leaks. Until official confirmation is provided, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt.
