Blessing of the Kumiho Guide
In this Team-Up, White Fox acts as the anchor, granting Luna Snow the ability to summon a Spirit Fox that supports her and the team. The fox runs in a straight line forward, passing through players, healing allies while dealing damage and briefly charming enemies.
Luna Snow’s healing is already very strong on its own, but with this new ability, she gains even more healing potential and a damaging skill that can really help in full clash situations.
After releasing the Spirit Fox, Luna Snow gets a bonus movement speed for a short period of time. This means this Team-Up can be used to play aggressively, assisting melee or close-range allies like Magik, Winter Soldier, Wolverine, and Captain America, healing them while also damaging the enemies they are chasing.
On the other hand, this Team-Up can also be played defensively. While being flanked or overwhelmed, using this skill not only helps allies but also grants bonus movement speed to safely retreat.
The cooldown is quite long at 20 seconds, making it important to know when to use this skill rather than blindly activating it whenever the team needs healing.
Best Against
Blessing of the Kumiho is best used against close- to mid-range heroes who often give you a hard time when contesting the objective:
This Team-Up ability only affects those the Spirit Fox passes through, meaning the range is quite narrow and short. Because of this, it mainly benefits melee and mid-range heroes. Heroes who tend to get close to enemies, such as Magik, Winter Soldier, Blade, Rogue, and Wolverine, are the prime targets for this skill.
Best Counters
These are the best heroes to counter Blessing of the Kumiho:
Flying characters cannot be affected by this skill, making them a good choice if the enemy team frequently uses this Team-Up. Groot can also stop Luna Snow and her allies who are affected by this skill by blocking them with his walls.
Gambit can apply anti-healing immediately after this Team-Up skill is used, while Angela can push away the DPS heroes who receive the skill’s effects, leaving Luna Snow vulnerable.
All in all, to counter Blessing of the Kumiho, either stop the healing or turn the tide by stunning or pushing away the enemies who are affected. This can isolate Luna Snow, who will likely be on the front line when she unleashes the skill.
