Cosmic Cyclone Guide

In this Team-Up, Storm acts as the anchor, granting Adam Warlock an upgraded version of his Soaring Surge ability. When this Team-Up is active, Adam Warlock’s Soaring Surge movement speed is increased.

Not only that, he also leaves behind a charged golden trail that heals and speeds up allies who pass through it.

This Team-Up greatly increases Adam’s supporting capability and survivability. Leaving a trail behind that heals and boosts movement speed is a great way to support allies, both offensively and defensively.

On the offensive side, using this skill is great during a big clash when your team seems to be winning. The trail left behind can help keep allies healthy and buff them with movement speed, allowing them to chase down any enemies left after the clash.

On the other hand, when getting overwhelmed by the enemy team’s ultimate clashes, Adam Warlock can use this ability to retreat. The trail can keep allies healthy and help them move faster while falling back.

This ability is also crucial when Adam and other backline allies are being flanked by fast-moving enemies. Both the healing and the movement speed can help keep you and your allies alive during the gank.

While this skill may tempt you to chase low-health enemies, it is not recommended to do so. Even if you manage to secure the kill, it may leave you deep in the enemy line with no movement ability left. Because of this, it is better to avoid the temptation unless the enemy you are chasing is the only one left.

Best Against

Cosmic Cyclone is best used against flankers who tend to harass Adam and other backliners:

As soon as a flanker ganks you and your other backliners, immediately use this skill to reposition quickly while also keeping your teammates alive. Chasers like Iron Fist, Magik, or Captain America will have no choice but to follow your trail, and by then your allies will already be healed and moving faster.

Best Counters

These are the best heroes to counter Cosmic Cyclone:

The best counters to Cosmic Cyclone are heroes who can stop Adam Warlock from moving. This Team-Up relies heavily on Adam Warlock’s mobility, so stunners like Angela, Luna Snow, Mantis, Invisible Woman, Squirrel Girl, Bruce Banner, Emma Frost, and Peni Parker all have abilities that can stun or push Adam Warlock and prevent him from moving.

Another strong counter comes from heroes who can one-shot or quickly combo Adam Warlock before he has the chance to activate the skill. Spider-Man and Hawkeye are some of the best examples here.
