Lore
NAMOR: Hela. I would have words with you.
HELA: How dare you invade my privacy? This cell is my sanctuary!
NAMOR: It is your prison. One that I could help you escape. But this old Atlantean magic I have used to contact you will not last long…
HELA: Then speak before I wipe away the puddle you’ve appeared in.
NAMOR: I present you a simple offer. I will help liberate you from the Eighth City. In return, you will lend me your ship of the dead, Naglfar, to aid in my conquest of Midgard.
HELA: I know you, Son of Atlantis. I have heard your name whispered by Hvergelmir, whence all waters rise. I have heard your deeds praised by Elivagar, whence all rivers diverge. The question is, do you know me? If you do, you would not dare to consider me a prisoner and insult me with such an offer. I have my own way out — no need for your intervention. But I am willing to present you a counteroffer... A deal, from a Queen to a King.
NAMOR: Please, do go on…
HELA: I shall strengthen your trident, giving you the power to command the dead of the deep sea. All I ask from you is a simple favor… when the time comes…
NAMOR: I would be a fool to refuse.
HELA: A fool, indeed.
Deep Wrath Guide
In this Team-Up, Hela acts as the anchor, granting Namor the ability to unleash a large pillar of dark water to deal AoE damage. Additionally, he can also passively spawn monstro spawns for a brief duration on the corpse of enemies who were killed by either him or Hela.
This Team-Up ability turns Namor into an even deadlier Duelist. His enhanced kit can be utilized in various situations—flanking, team fights, or even solo duels, you name it.
When flanking, the AoE skill can strike multiple Strategists if they’re grouped together. If one falls, a minion spawns on the corpse and immediately pressures the others, giving enemy backlines a tough time.
In team fights, this Team-Up shines even more. It synergizes well with ally ultimates, and if at least two enemies are taken down, two minions will appear. Their damage is no joke and can trigger a domino effect, wiping out the opposition.
Overall, this Team-Up significantly enhances Namor’s base kit, making him even scarier to deal with.
Best Against
Deep Wrath is best against enemy backliners:
Best Counters
These are the best heroes to counter Deep Wrath Team-Up:
Flying heroes are natural counters to this Team-Up, since Namor’s water pillar can only be cast on the ground.
Fast-moving, high-mobility Strategists like Rocket Raccoon can also easily slip away from Namor’s flank, making him one of the best Strategist picks when facing this combo.
Ironically, Namor himself is also a strong counter to this Team-Up. His summoned minions can protect the backline and intercept enemy flankers, turning the threat back on its users.
